BIOLOGICAL PILLAR- The sense of touch when Moana reaches out to touch the water. It connects because she has a relationship with her grandma because of how much she loves the ocean.
COGNITION PILLAR- When Moana finds out that her father once was just like her until a something bad happened. She learns that her father was like that her and that he’s holding onto that miserable experience of going beyond the reef. He’s holding on to it and it’s restricting him from going places that could help the people.
LIFE SPAN DEVELOPMENT AND LEARNING PILLAR- They haven’t left the island because of their beliefs. The grandma was teaching the children. It connects because she was teaching them by telling them story telling which is an oral way of teaching.
SOCIAL AND PERSONALITY PILLAR- When Moana’s dad takes her to the top of the mountain where the stones are that every chief have put. It a social thing that she has to deal with that she has to fit in to be a good chief for people when she does become chief.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH- When Moana’s grandmother passes it affects her mental health and makes her want to run away into the ocean which she wasn’t to go beyond the reef . This connects because the death of a loved one really affects the way you look at life from there on and different emotions are wanting to come out.
